“So That Others May Live”

“Committing to service-above-self, perpetual training, and inter-agency cooperation to maintain a constant state of readiness for search, rescue, incident response and above all else, safety.”

  • Inform others. If we can prevent an emergency, before it happens, our work is done.

  • Training is the backbone of safe and efficient SAR work. Some of us come with little experience and have much to learn. The most experienced of us can learn new and improved ways to do our work.

  • Above all else, safety. Through training and experienced management, we will control our personal risk in the rescuing of others.

  • We maintain our readiness, so we can react at any time, with the fastest possible response.

GET INVOLVED

How can you help? We always need dedicated volunteers, willing to come out and help at any moment, in the oddest places, under unusual circumstances, in the worst weather. It’s rarely glorious or amazing, and often frustratingly tedious. Now and then you do get the reward of finding a lost party, helping a panicked parent, and even rescuing someone from a near death experience. Giving hope where there was none, or bringing closure to a families loss.
Donations are how we survive from the financial end. If you want to give to an organization where 100% of your money goes to work on the the ground, helping and saving people, you found the right charity. All of our members give their time, and often large amounts of money towards their personal gear and training/mission travel costs. Our goal is for the charity to pay for uniforms, specialized equipment, technology upgrades, safety gear, etc. None of this would be possible without the support of donors like you.
